Organic wood sculptures
I've always been drawn to the character that exists in natural materials. A twisted root, weathered branch, or forgotten piece of driftwood — all carry a history that can't be manufactured or replicated.
Rather than approaching the work with a fixed blueprint, I allow the material to influence the direction of the final piece. When I find a piece of wood that speaks to me, I begin by studying it—following the grain, examining its contours, and considering the story already embedded within it.
My goal is not to transform the wood into something entirely different, but to reveal, refine and highlight what is already inherently there. Through shaping, carving, and finishing, I work to find balance between the raw beauty of nature and intentional design.
Each sculpture is unique, preserving the individuality of the wood while giving it a new life and purpose.
